+ A signed copy of your FFL is required if ordering firearms. This submission MUST include either an email address or phone number.

+ Prices are for U.S. FFL dealers only.

+ Any request for adjustment must be submitted promptly. No items will be accepted for return after 30 days from date of shipment. We will only reimburse shipping fees up to the amt. of U.P.S. published rates. An original   U.P.S. receipt is required to process your refund.

+ We will not reimburse shipping fees on return handguns except if shipped via the postal service.

+ Damage claims must save the original box.

+ Handguns are sent exclusively by Next Day Air.

 5.45 AMMUNITION INFORMATION We have received many inquiries regarding the performance of various rifles chambered for the 5.45x39mm cartridge. The majority of the questions relate to bullet upset or “key-holing” when the bullets strike a target. While barrel twist rates have a slight effect on performance of the bullet, as we learn more about the 5.45x39mm cartridge, it is generally accepted that the bullet upset phenomenon is an intentional design attribute calculated toavoid over-penetration of a target and maximize energy transfer. This makes sense when you consider: • The longer the bullet in proportion to its diameter, the more twist to stabilize it. • A very long nose is good for drag reduction and aerodynamic efficiency, but is harder to stabilize. • A longer and heavier bullet can be stabilized at the same twist by increasing the velocity. • A low velocity bullet requires a faster twist to stabilize it. • A long pointed bullet is harder to stabilize due to potential errors in manufacturing. It needs to be properly balanced, concentric and symmetrical. If the bullet is not perfectly made, problems show up with the center of gravity and other forces. • The best rate of twist is governed by the bullets length, not its weight.  In light of the ever changing laws, rules and regulations enacted or proposed by federal, state and local governmental entities, Century has implemented sales polices meant to meet or exceed such governmental restrictions. Because of this, situations may arise where Century’s sales policies are more stringent than how others may interpret a law or regulation. Return Policy: Please read all Terms!

1) All returns are subject to restocking fees. If the merchandise is returned to our warehouse in “as advertised” condition, the customer will be charged a 10% restocking fee and will not be reimbursed for the shipping charges.

2) All firearms/receivers sold as “new”, or manufactured/assembled by Century have (1) year repair/replacement warranty from the day the firearm/receiver was shipped from Century’s warehouse to the customer, unless noted otherwise. Repairs or replacements are determined at Century’s discretion. The (1) year period does not start over if a firearm is repaired and reshipped.

3) A return authorization number must be obtained prior to returning any merchandise to Century. An authorization number may be obtained by calling 1-800-527-1252. If after receipt and inspection, it is determined a mechanical/operational defect has been caused by actions taken by the customer or an entity outside Century, the warranty is void and Century is not responsible for the repair costs nor obligated to replace the firearm. The customer will be notified in these cases. Please do not return any aftermarket items to Century with firearms. This includes but is not limited to scopes, mounts, rails, stock, etc. All returns are subject to possible restock fees. Shipping fees reimbursed only up to published UPS rates. An UPS receipt is required to process your refund. No shipping reimbursement on handguns unless shipped via US Postal Service.

4) All ammo, parts, accessories and surplus firearms have a 30 day repair/replacement/refund period. If the merchandise is returned to our warehouse in “as advertised” condition, the customer will be charged a 10% restocking fee and will not be reimbursed for the shipping charges.

5) If the person returning the merchandise is not the original purchaser, they must submit a copy of their driver’s license and our waiver of liability statement.

6) The customer will only be reimbursed for the UPS published rates. (Customer needs to take the merchandise directly to a UPS facility, ship it UPS Ground, and send a copy of the shipping receipt with the RA# on it via fax, email, or postal mail).

7) All returned merchandise must be sent to the addresses given to you when obtaining an RA# by calling 1-800-527-1252. Merchandise will be refused if shipped without an RA# on the package or shipped to our Florida address. The customer will not be reimbursed for these shipping charges.

8) Please allow 4-6 weeks for reshipment of repairs/replacements.

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express with no surcharge. C.O.D. may be paid by business or personal check or money order. Business and personal checks above $300.00 are preapproved by our checking verification service before orders are processed.

 

CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS: Handguns must be on the California approved list for sales to FFL licensees. No C&R licenses can purchase handguns. No magazine sales over 10 rds. capacity. No sales of Ammunition delivered to Los Angeles, all of Orange County or San Francisco. Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

ILLINOIS CUSTOMERS: No Firearms sales to Chicago including Cooke County. An Illinois FOID card must be on file for C&R Licensees to purchase C&R firearms. Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

MASSACHUSETTS CUSTOMERS: No sales of ammunition or High Capacity magazines to anyone. FFL Dealers may purchase handguns that are on the MA approved for sale list. No sales of rifles which accept high capacity magazines. A copy of your FID class A or B license is required for a C&R license holder to purchase a C&R firearm.

MARYLAND CUSTOMERS: We will sell used handguns manufactured prior to 1/1/85 as well as all Curio and Relic handguns to dealers only. No magazine sales exceeding 20 rd. capacity. Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

NEW JERSEY CUSTOMERS: No CETME sales. For a C&R license holder to purchase a C&R rifle, a signed written certificate on a form prescribed by the Superintendent of State Police, which identifies the purchaser, their address and FID or dealer number, and states that they are not disqualified from purchase. No C&R handguns to C&R license holders. No magazine Sales over 15 rd. capacity. No Ammunition Sales to Consumer Residents of NJ as State Law Insists that ID be Presented in Person. No sales of firearms which accept hi-capacity magazines. Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

NEW YORK CUSTOMERS: We will ship C&R and used handguns to 01 FFL licensees only. A copy of your State Handgun Dealers License must be on file. NY City Dealers must have the appropriate city licenses, No Ammunition Sales to NY City. Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

WASHINGTON DC CUSTOMERS: No Sales of any products.

CONNECTICUT CUSTOMERS: No C&R pistol sales to C&R licensees. No sales of semi-automatic rifles (excluding SKS types). Check for other Local & State laws before ordering.

WASHINGTON STATE CUSTOMERS: No sales of machine gun parts or parts kits. No sales of ammunition to C&R licensees or consumer direct sales.

HAWAII CUSTOMERS: No magazines over 10 rd. capacity.

 

Ammunition Sales Policy - FFL (01) dealers are exempt:

1. Sales of ammunition in CA to FFL/C&R license (01 and 03 Type License) only.

2. Sales of ammunition in IL must have a FOID card on file. No sales in Cook County, IL and Cicero, IL.

3. No direct sales of ammunition to Montgomery County and Annapolis, MD. residents.

4. No direct sales of ammunition to MA or NJ residents.

5. No direct sales of ammunition to New York City residents (all boroughs) and Yonkers, NY residents. No armor piercing handgun ammunition sales to Suffolk County, NY residents.

6. No direct sales of ammunition to Cincinnati, OH residents.

7. A “license to sell ammunition” from the state of WA is required to purchase ammunition for non FFL (01 Type License) dealers.

8. Sales of ammunition to NV residents require a signed custom Century waiver for NV residents for every ammo purchase. Type 01 licenses are exempt.

Prior to sale, in addition to identification, we need to secure a statement that the purchaser is not: Under indictment or ever been convicted of a felony; A fugitive from justice; Adjudicated mentally ill or confined to a mental facility or Illegally or unlawfully in the United States.

No magazine over 10 round capacity available for sale in CA; DC; HI; MA; NY (unless manufactured before 9.13.94); Cook County (Chicago), IL.

No magazine over 15 round capacity available for sale in NJ; Southbend, IN; Aurora, IL and Cicero, IL.

No magazine over 20 round capacity available for sale in MD; Wichita, KS; Denver, CO and Vail, CO.

SURPLUS PARTS NOTICE: All surplus parts are sold “as is” and with all faults. Century International Arms disclaims all warranties that might be implied relative to the subject parts. Surplus parts are used, and Century has not made a determination of the amount of variation, use, wear, breakage or alteration that may be exhibited in the parts. Parts must be inspected and tested by qualified and competent gunsmiths or armorers before use in a firearm. Not all firearm parts are interchangeable, use of surplus parts without proper knowledge could cause a firearm to malfunction and cause property damage, injury or death.
